It's a sweet counting book with simple rhymes and celebrates different winter holidays. The illustrations are darling, and it's an inclusive read for the winter time and holiday season! Perfect for littles.

The Blur, by Minh Le, Illustrated by Dan Santat. This was the book we brought to the hospital for Baby's first read aloud when he was born! One of my favorite new releases of the year from my favorite author, illustrator duo, and it is the most heart-warming book about the blur of childhood and special milestones with your child. It makes me tear up at the end! This one is probably more meaningful for the parents than the actual baby, but I also love gifting this one to new parents since it encapsulates the parenting experience and how you should cherish every moment because it will zoom by so fast, like a blur!

Tummy Time! A high-contrast fold-out book with a mirror for babies. This is one for the babies! It's not the traditional book format, but my own baby is obsessed with it and I love how engaging it is, for newborns especially. One side has high contrast images, and the other side has pictures of babies and a mirror. Highly recommend this one and love gifting it to new parents.
